Marco put a tremendous amount of effort into creating Bliss Dance, starting off by sculpting model Deja Solis in clay. The medieval-era Pantograph was then used to make a hand-built enlargement that was 14 ft. 6 in., followed by another enlargement with the same tool that made it reach its final 40-foot form.

By blending timeless sculptural craftsmanship and contemporary design, we get a perfect harmony of elegance and sophistication. Marco Cochrane and his team have created this amazing steel masterpiece which is composed of two layers of geodesic triangles that are covered with stainless steel mesh and illuminated by 2,828 individual RGB LED lights from both inside and out. Crafted with 55,000 welds and supported by 6 2.5 inch sturdy steel rods on the ankle, Bliss Dance embodies the artist’s ambition of unifying masculine geometry like triangles and trusses with a feminine shape and soul.
